Job Description:

An ‘Outstanding’ graded Ofsted secondary school in South East London is hiring Academic Mentors to join in September 2025. The role involves supporting students through targeted academic interventions and teaching assistance, with opportunities for funded teacher training after a year's experience.

Job Responsibility:

Run small, targeted interventions in groups and 1:1 for students who are struggling academically
Run booster sessions for students inside and outside of the classroom across various subjects depending on your subject speciality
Support class teachers across different subjects and support students development academically

Requirements:

Must have a 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable University
Aspiring Primary or Secondary Teacher
Must be willing to go above and beyond daily for the pupils
Confidence is key throughout these roles/School
Must be a team player
