Job Responsibility

  • Overseeing all the administrative and academic quality activities of all BSBI Faculties within the current and also the future internal academic structure

  • Overseeing that the Administration, proctoring and marking of all students‘ assignments and exams is done appropriately and according to regulations
  • Overseeing the performance of lecturers, students and retention rate
  • Overseeing the Deans in amending or designing and developing a new curriculum for a Programme or an individual Module if required

  • Participating in School‘s activities (including extra-curricular) as required by the Provost and Chief Academic Officer of the School

Requirements

  • PhD in the domain of education, business or management
  • Prior teaching experience in higher education at University level for at least 10 years
  • Prior experience in a senior academic position in an Institution for at least 2 years
  • Prior experience in working in the international education sector in an academic executive position for at least 3 years
  • Very good knowledge of Windows OS, of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint) and Microsoft Teams
  • A significant number of Scientific publications
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (C2 level)
  • Minimum B2 level in German
  • Due to the international character of the School, knowledge of at least three foreign languages
  • Sound knowledge of Educational Platforms (i.e. Canvas, Blackboard etc.)
  • Sound knowledge of academic quality processes, study regulations and rules of the British, American and main European higher education systems
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • High social competence and assertiveness
