Job Description:

The AC Technician is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment at The Westin Saraya Aqaba Resort & Spa. The role involves daily mechanical plant inspections, temperature and utility monitoring, equipment calibration, and performing electrical and plumbing maintenance. The technician ensures safety protocols are followed, maintains professional standards, provides excellent guest service, and works collaboratively with the team to enhance operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment
Maintain and conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant
Monitor and control property temperature
Monitor and analyze energy and utilities usage
Calibrate all controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment
Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems or electronic wiring
Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, etc.
Perform routine pool and spa maintenance
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
Complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings
Perform physical tasks including reaching, moving in confined spaces, lifting objects up to 50 pounds alone and assisting with objects over 100 pounds
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

EPA Universal Certification
Driver's License
HVAC Certification
Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
At least 3 years of related work experience
