Job Description

Our Middle East office currently has an opening for an AC Mechanic to join our team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems across our marine vessels.

Job Responsibility

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems on various marine vessels
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot AC system issues, identifying the root causes and proposing effective solutions
  • Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and prevent potential breakdowns
  • Monitor refrigerant levels, pressures, and temperature controls to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage
  • Participate in vessel equipment and machinery repairs in case of necessity

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an AC Mechanic, preferably in a marine or similar environment, with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, components, refrigerants, and proper handling and disposal procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints and manuals, with strong diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex AC system issues
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to AC maintenance in a marine environment
  • Diploma / Professional Certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is mandatory
  • Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces and challenging conditions
  • Willingness to travel at short notice across Saudi Arabia
