Job Description:

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the technology team. The overall objective is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Responsibility:

Taking individual ownership and ability to drive the team
Coordinating with onshore team and working with operations/tech partners across global regions
Working with production support team to resolve recurrent production issues
Allocating tasks in JIRA and tracking to completion.

Requirements:

Strong experience in ETL Methodologies and tools preferably in Talend and Ab-initio
Taking individual ownership and ability to drive the team
Coordinating with onshore team and working with operations/tech partners across global regions
Working with production support team to resolve recurrent production issues
Ability to allocate tasks in JIRA and track to completion
6-9 years of in-depth experience in ETL methodologies/data processing
4+ years of strong experience in Talend
3+ years of experience in Ab-initio
Experience in Unix/Linux commands/utilities and Shell Scripting
Working knowledge on SQL Server or related database technologies, writing and analyzing complex SQL queries
Experience in job scheduling (preferably Autosys)
Experience in deployment automation (preferably Urban Code Deploy)
Experience creating JIRA tasks and tracking them to completion
Knowledge on Windows batch scripting
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for production issues
Good knowledge on banking - corporate actions processing (preferred)
Bachelor's degree/university degree or equivalent experience.
