Robert Half is seeking an ABBYY Vantage OCR Consultant to support a global enterprise organization. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing intelligent document processing workflows using ABBYY Vantage, with a focus on developing and fine-tuning AI-driven document extraction and classification skills. The position is fully remote, and is a 2-month contract opportunity with strong potential to extend.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, train, test, and publish ABBYY Vantage Document Skills and Classification Skills for business documents such as invoices, KYC documentation, and logistics forms
  • Use Vantage Advanced Designer to fine-tune extraction models and improve performance on complex or unstructured document layouts
  • Develop and configure Process Skills to orchestrate classification, extraction, validation, and exception-handling workflows
  • Integrate ABBYY Vantage with external systems using REST APIs, including middleware platforms such as Boomi
  • Configure and manage the Verification Terminal to support human-in-the-loop validation and ensure high data accuracy
  • Monitor and improve Straight-Through Processing (STP) rates using Vantage analytics and reporting tools
  • Analyze performance metrics and retrain models to drive continuous optimization and automation improvements

  • Strong hands-on experience with ABBYY Vantage (required)

  • Experience building and publishing Process Skills
  • Proficiency with Vantage Advanced Designer for model training and tuning
  • Experience integrating Vantage via REST APIs
