Job Description:

A vacancy for an Engineering Change Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe. The successful applicant will join Military Aircraft Configuration Engineering department. For engineering related stages, you will act mainly as a Change Leader for Systems and Integration Team in the frame of A400M Programme. You will be in charge of bringing support to configuration activities for different Aircraft ATAs. In the framework of your activities, you will have interaction with Design, Systems Analysis, Manufacturing Engineering, Programmes Configuration and Services. In cruise speed, the position allows the regular teleworking. In the frame of DDMS and new trends, you will be able to contribute shaping the way of working to come for the whole Airbus Group and being part of the adoption of new technologies (like AIs) into our workstreams

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage modifications flow
  • Support to the preparation of modifications documents (CR/TRS)
  • Support to certification process for authorities
  • Prepare reports on the configuration at different stages
  • Define the general criteria and requirements that must fulfill the design product structure, as well as support to its creation
  • Participate as representative in the Configuration meetings
  • Check if as design product structure comply with change objectives and procedures
  • Participate in the definition of requirements to be implemented on PLM related with the Configuration Management tasks. Verification and validation of it implementation
  • Support the update and definition of configuration procedures included in Design Organization Manual
  • Support the center of competence in transversal activities, implementation of new processes (like CMPM) and tools

Requirements:

  • Educated to Aeronautical or Industrial engineering degree or a related discipline
  • At least 4 years of experience in Aeronautic domain in Configuration Management, Design, Systems Analysis, Manufacturing Engineering, or a relate area
  • 2 years of experience in Configuration Management in any of the following Airbus / Airbus DS programmes : A400M / A350 / A380
  • Knowledge of configuration tools/PLM (ICC / PDMLink System View /APS modules)
  • Advanced level in English
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive and brave, able to propose new ideas and improvement driven
  • Innovative and open minded

Spanish will be valued as a plus
