Job Description:

Do you want to work with CMO’s across PepsiCo’s top 20 anchor markets globally? Do you like to transform for growth and drive impact on multi-million dollar marketing investments? Then, this role could be for you! A&M Excellence Team is a global capability within PepsiCo focused on transforming how marketing investments are planned, evaluated, and optimized across markets. Created through the successful in-housing of consulting capabilities in 2023, the team plays a central role in the Becoming Better Investor (BBI) agenda under Power Positive Growth. Its mission is to bring greater transparency, sharper benchmarking, and stronger investment decisions—helping ensure A&M budgets are right-sized, strategically allocated, and aligned to competitive realities. Through performance reviews, allocation modeling, and AOP contracting, the team partners with markets and global stakeholders year-round to unlock growth. This role leads the analytical evaluation of multi-million-dollar A&M budgets, combining deep analysis, methodological improvement, and cross-market learning to drive stronger business decisions. You will own your area end to end—from data, analysis, and visualization to final recommendations and outcomes—while also helping improve methodologies and partnering closely with enabling teams such as ROIe, Sufficiency, and GN.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide insightful performance commentary: Explain business results, key drivers, and optimization opportunities with clarity and influence. Bring a global lens to reporting so insights reflect strategic context, not just raw data
  • Lead structured problem-solving: Own key components of Market Deep Dive initiatives - shape hypotheses, design and execute analyses, and develop smart solutions that improve A&M efficiency and effectiveness
  • Drive allocation analytics and modeling: Use advanced frameworks and tools, including the PepsiCo Allocation Model and Right Sizing, to guide resource allocation and generate actionable recommendations
  • Share cross-market learnings: Synthesize observations and best practices across markets to surface horizontal insights that strengthen decision-making and elevate performance
  • Deliver clear and impactful insights: Turn findings into compelling narratives and presentations that make complex issues easy to understand and easier to act on
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration: Partner with diverse capability teams such as ROIe, Sufficiency, Content, Sponsorship, and DAM to enrich analyses and build stronger, more holistic recommendations
  • Engage with key stakeholders: Work closely with A&M Excellence experts and business partners to address analytical needs with tailored solutions that support strategic decisions
  • Strengthen data quality and governance: Partner with Data & Governance leads to define data requirements and ensure accuracy by bringing strong functional and business context
  • Advance automation initiatives: Help automate data collection, validation, and reporting to improve speed, consistency, and scalability
  • Optimize and streamline processes: Continuously improve workflows through feedback and global-regional alignment, simplifying and standardizing datasets while helping enable future digitalization

Requirements:

  • Experienced insights or analytics professional with 7+ years in a leading consumer goods company and/or media or marketing agency environment
  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Sociology, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience working with large and complex data sets
  • Familiarity with key measurement frameworks such as MMM and sufficiency models
  • Ability to synthesize multiple, disparate data sources into clear insight
  • Strong collaborator who actively co-creates solutions across markets and is comfortable working in responsive, fast-moving ways
  • Strong background in analytics, business analytics, research, consumer insights, or commercial roles, combined with excellent analytical capability
  • Solid familiarity with A&M service providers in the CPG and Food & Beverage industry
  • Deep understanding of CPG business performance metrics, causal drivers, and how to bring insights to life visually
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Strong understanding of internal and external data sources that support reporting and analysis
  • Ability to identify and unlock efficiencies that improve processes and deliverables
  • Strong depth and breadth of custom and syndicated research and analytics
  • Excellent analytical thinking with the ability to connect data, insights, A&M data providers, macro and micro trends, and future consumer shifts into clear business implications and forward-looking scenarios

Nice to have:

Experience in business services and/or consulting is a plus
