Job Description

The A-Licensed Engineer / Mechanic is responsible for carrying out aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with approved maintenance data, company procedures, and regulatory requirements. The role supports the safe and efficient operation of customer aircraft while maintaining the highest standards of airworthiness, safety, quality, and operational performance.

Job Responsibility

  • Carry out aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with approved maintenance data, company procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain licence, company authorisations, qualifications, and mandatory training required to perform duties
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation, inspection records, and production paperwork are completed accurately and in compliance with company and legal requirements
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship, ensuring aircraft safety, airworthiness, and quality standards are upheld at all times
  • Ensure tooling, equipment, vehicles, and ground support equipment used are serviceable and any defects are reported promptly
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current maintenance procedures, technical instructions, and company processes
  • Support effective shift handovers and maintain clear communication with colleagues, supervisors, customers, and interfacing departments
  • Utilise available resources efficiently to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, effectively, and within operational requirements
  • Undertake additional tasks and projects as required to support station operations and business objectives

Requirements

  • UKCAA Licence A320 type rating ideal but not essential, as long as they have experience with a320
  • Must have the right to work in the UK as sponsorship not provided
  • UKCAA - A320 experience
  • Proven Experience: line maintenance expertise on commercial aircraft
  • Qualification: Diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification
