Our client is a prestigious college in Malaysia is seeking exceptional A-Level Physics Teachers to join our team. In this role, you will guide and inspire highly motivated learners on their path to securing places at the world's leading universities. We are looking for committed professionals who can deliver outstanding instruction and provide the mentorship necessary for our learners to achieve their ambitious goals.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare teaching materials and deliver lessons for A-Level subjects while maintaining professional teaching conduct
  • Assist the Head of Department to prepare and review syllabi and schemes of work while implementing college policies
  • Monitor student performance, maintain attendance and academic records, and report progress to parents, sponsors, and universities
  • Act as a weekly tutor to guide students through university applications and write academic references for UCAS and Common App
  • Invigilate internal and external CAIE public exams, and attend departmental meetings and college events
  • Provide pastoral care to support student well-being, and engage in professional development to update teaching practices and subject knowledge

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in the subject discipline
  • A PGCE is desirable if you do not have a teaching degree
  • At least 3 years’ experience teaching A-Level with knowledge of CIE syllabus
  • Broad understanding of academic fields
  • Demonstrate strategies for moving students from A to A*
  • Ability to plan innovative teaching activities to develop student’s thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
