• Welcome guests, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and specials
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring correct presentation and temperature
• Set up and clear tables, maintain clean and organized dining areas, and assist with table settings and decorations
• Stay informed about the menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens to answer guest inquiries confidently
• Suggest additional items or enhancements to improve the guest experience and increase sales
• Build rapport with guests, anticipate their needs, and respond promptly to any requests or concerns
• Prepare and present bills, handle payments, and ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation
• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages

• Previous experience as a waiter in an à la carte or fine dining setting is required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Familiarity with à la carte service, menu items, and wine pairings
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and service
• Ability to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays and dishes
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen and serving staff
• Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism
