Job Description

Join TUI Hotels & Resorts as an À La Carte Chef in our TUI BLUE Makarska, Igrane, Croatia where you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality à la carte dishes in accordance with company standards, ensuring excellent guest satisfaction and maintaining hygiene and food safety standards within the kitchen operation. All applicants must be fluent in Croatian and English. Due to work permit restrictions, applicants must be from a European Union country.

Job Responsibility

  • Works in the à la carte restaurant preparing and serving dishes according to guest orders
  • Ensures attractive food presentation and dish delivery in line with company procedures and standards
  • Plans and prepares ingredients required for the daily preparation of meals
  • Prepares menus and à la carte dishes in accordance with quality and presentation standards
  • Processes and prepares meat, fish, vegetables and other ingredients for kitchen operations
  • Participates in the implementation and maintenance of HACCP standards
  • Maintains cleanliness, hygiene and organisation within the kitchen area
  • Cooperates closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure excellent guest experience

Requirements

  • Vocational or secondary school qualification (KV/SSS)
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in the same or similar role within high-category hotels
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • All applicants must be fluent in Croatian and English
  • Due to work permit restrictions, applicants must be from a European Union country
  • Motivated, responsible and communicative personality
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
  • High level of professionalism, organisation and attention to detail
