Job Description:

I am looking to speak with a 66kV Senior Authorised Person for a role that will cover the maintaince for an offshore wind farm in Taiwan. You must have the 8vm1 training.

Job Responsibility:

  • Execute High Voltage HV switching operations in compliance with safety protocols
  • Perform maintenance tasks on 66kV turbines
  • Provide coverage as a Authorised Person at substations during work activities
  • Assist the HV Control Room operations
  • Collaborate within HV & Transmission Systems and/or Site Teams responsible for both scheduled and unscheduled high and low voltage maintenance within the Wind Farm
  • Safely manage the HV/LV Network, ensuring safety for working parties
  • Maintain awareness of the clients asset management policy and strategy, along with relevant responsibilities of the position
  • Perform electrical isolations, earthing, and switching of the high voltage and low voltage network

Requirements:

  • Authorisation as an Authorised Person up to 66kV
  • Full GWO
  • 8vm1 trained (module 5)
  • Flexibility regarding work schedules, including participation in an on-call rotation
  • Strong communication, planning, and reporting abilities
