The 58 Social Server is responsible for delivering exceptional service in a lively, guest‑focused social environment. This role combines traditional serving skills with elevated hospitality, ensuring guests enjoy a welcoming and engaging experience across dining, lounge, and social areas. The ideal candidate is personable, attentive, and skilled at providing premium service while working efficiently in a fast-paced social setting.
Job Responsibility:
Greet guests promptly with a warm and friendly attitude
Provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding menu items, specials, and beverages
Take accurate food and drink orders and ensure timely delivery
Anticipate guest needs and provide seamless, attentive service
Maintain an upbeat, professional presence that enhances the overall guest experience
Set up, maintain, and close assigned sections according to venue standards
Process payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures
Assist with maintaining cleanliness and appearance of social spaces, including tables, lounge areas, and service stations
Collaborate with bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Communicate guest needs or issues promptly to management or support staff
Work cohesively with team members to maintain high service standards
Support new team members with onboarding and training as requested
Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service policies
Verify guest identification for alcohol service according to local regulations
Follow venue procedures for handling incidents, guest concerns, or emergencies
Requirements:
1–2 years of serving experience in a social dining, lounge, or upscale casual environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Positive attitude, team-driven mindset, and strong professionalism
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Comfort working in a fast-paced, energetic environment
Flexible availability including nights, weekends, events, and holidays based on venue needs
Nice to have:
Experience in high-volume venues, social clubs, or mixology-driven environments
Knowledge of craft cocktails, wine service, or premium beverage programs
Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certification (as required by local regulations)
