Job Description

Emcon Services Inc.is a proud Canadian based company with over 30 years of success as an interprovincial road and bridge maintenance contractor. We currently have an opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our mechanical team as 421A Licensed Technician & Apprentice for our Sudbury, Ontario division at our Lively, Ontario shop.

Job Responsibility

Participation in on-call rotations
opportunity for overtime (OT)
Company vehicle may be provided while on-call, as required

Requirements

Licensed Heavy Equipment Mechanic (421A)
Valid Ontario Driver's Licence
Knowledge and experience in Preventative Maintenance Programs
Knowledge and experience in engine/emission diagnostics, electrical diagnostics and repair
Knowledge and experience in heavy truck hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, suspension, and steering
Knowledge and experience on electrical and electronic system
Knowledge and experience in fabrication and welding considered an asset
Good knowledge of trade related worksite safety
Experience on industry related heavy-duty equipment such as gravel trucks, grass cutting attachments, winter maintenance attachments, loaders, grader, sweepers, mowers, backhoes, tractors, etc.
Capable of working overtime as required
Capable of performing call out to attend vehicle breakdown

Nice to have

Knowledge and experience in fabrication and welding
