Job Description

A growing organisation based in Witney are looking to add a 3rd Line IT Systems Support Engineer to their team. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to move into a more senior position and shoulder more responsibility.

Job Responsibility

  • To be an effective point of contact for Internal IT, resolving issues, escalating internally, or referring to 3rd parties as appropriate
  • Liaise with senior IT team members to escalate any issues or reoccurring problems or concerns within the IT areas
  • To contribute to the development & implementation of IT plans to enable it to support the growth of the business, whilst improving the efficiency and effectiveness of hardware, software, and systems
  • Identify areas where improvements can be made in the IT service, and suggest enhancements to the joint Head of IT

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a 3rd Line IT Engineer line role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience of working on a variety of projects
  • Driving license
  • Experience with Cloud environment such as Microsoft Cloud and Azure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
  • Liaise with senior IT team members to escalate issues
  • Contribute to the development & implementation of IT plans
  • Identify areas for improvement in IT service
