Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a 3DX - Domain lead on Industrial DMU (f/m) to join our team based in Toulouse, France. As a 3DEXperience Domain lead on Industrial DMU (m/f), you will join the “Product & Simulation” Product in the “One PLM” Product Service Line, in charge of developing 3DExperience solutions for Engineering, and will functionally report to the Head of Product. The scope of the organization is to deliver to Airbus Business a single & harmonized set of IS/IT tools for the development of the Aircraft, its industrial set-up and the support and Services part, non-recurring & recurring aspects included. The organization is established to ensure the development and the support of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) solutions in a context of Airbus Group Process, Method and Tools strategy. The scope will be linked to topics related to Product Process and Resources in the fields of Manufacturing area but also Support and Services or Quality.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct in-depth discovery meetings, targeted at understanding, capturing, and identifying the complex business requirements and operational objectives of the Engineering area but also Support and Services or Quality
  • Secure a consistent planning and validate Functional Architects and Urbanists commitments with Business
  • Follow-up implementation deliveries, functional tests, deployment and method writing for his domain
  • Define and develop the required functional and technical specification documents to be reviewed with stakeholders and product team members
  • Manage realization of new IT solutions in a multinational organization following a joint approach with business and other technical experts based on the agile framework (SAFe) to ensure integrity of the solution delivered
  • Ensure collaboration between Product Management teams and development resources during product development and implementation to ensure integrity of the solution delivered
  • Identify areas for improvement in business processes providing possible IT solutions compliant with the IT strategy
  • Support the IT Product Manager in the Product/Service Planning based on customer and functional / technical requirements
  • Produce documentation of current challenges, future requirements, and benefits in a manner appropriate for the customer
  • Monitor external business trends in order to better challenge the business requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers and the operational efficiency department to track and facilitate the rollout of new solutions across various AIRBUS sites
  • Manage Run Mode phase of deployment to support customers users ramp-up and replacement of legacy products
  • Ensure synchronization with software publisher and integrators
  • Manage Task Force and escalation procedures if required, including mobilisation of various actors
  • This role will involve some travel for business (once a month)

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of experience in functional architecture, project management, solution engineering or another relevant field
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Ideally, knowledge in the field of Design, Manufacturing, Support and Services, or in the following domains: Manufacturing Engineering, Shop Floor Execution, Industrial Modelling and Simulation, Configuration Management, Quality, Configured Digital Mock-Up (DMU), Product Lifecycle Management, Engineering IS, Architecture, Maintenance and Repair
  • Ability to lead a project from start to finish and deliver results
  • Ability to drive improvement and innovation
  • Knowledge of IT tools customizing and architecture, IT and business strategy alignment, IT product design and product development, IT business change management
  • Customer and stakeholder management skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to synthetise and arbitrate
