Job Description

Join Kingspan’s construction team to lead the commercial and contractual delivery of KingZip SF projects—our advanced standing-seam system for complex 3D architectural forms. You’ll partner closely with design and site teams, bringing rigorous quantity surveying discipline and a working grasp of 3D modelling/building envelopes to deliver on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates, budgets, and tender documents
  • Analyse drawings/specifications to forecast materials, labour, and programme impacts
  • Lead procurement, evaluate bids, and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors
  • Track progress, certify valuations, and control costs and change throughout delivery
  • Manage interim and final payments, variations, and cost reporting (CVR, cash flow)
  • Identify commercial risks
  • propose and implement mitigation strategies
  • Support claims management and dispute resolution where required
  • Provide regular cost, margin, and cash flow forecasts to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Degree In Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Or Related Field
  • 3+ Years’ Experience In A Similar QS Role (Residential/Commercial/Infrastructure)
  • Strong Knowledge Of Construction Methods, Contract Law (E.G., JCT/NEC Or Local Equivalents), And Financial Management
  • 3D Capability And Understanding Of Architectural Forms/BIM-Related Visualisation Tools Is A Plus
  • Proficiency With Cost Tools (E.G. CostX, WinQS, Excel)
  • Excellent Negotiation, Communication, And Analytical Skills
  • Calm Under Pressure
  • Fluency In English
  • Holding An EU Working Visa Is An Advantage
