For our mobile/PC-based game project, fluid and realistic animations will be created in Blender for characters generated with Character Creator. In particular, animations for entering and exiting vehicles are expected to be designed in a natural, seamless, and technically flawless manner.
Job Responsibility:
Producing animations in Blender without altering the rig structure of the existing Character Creator character
Designing complex movements, such as entering and exiting vehicles, in a fluid manner
Ensuring error-free transfer of animations to the Unity game engine (FBX export, rig compatibility)
Providing support, when necessary, in communication with the team regarding animation transitions, blend trees, and root motion
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in an Animator position
Advanced knowledge of character animation in Blender
Experience with Character Creator and Unity integration
Ability to create and export animations without breaking the rig structure
Strong portfolio in designing realistic, natural, and fluid movements
Proficiency in Root Motion concepts
Experience with IK (Inverse Kinematics) and animations involving vehicle/character interactions
Nice to have:
Previous experience in similar tasks within game projects is a plus
