Job Responsibility:
Creating high-quality animations for characters, props, and environment elements
Rigging characters and objects for optimal control and performance in Unity
Collaborating with concept artists, 3D modelers, and developers to ensure animation works seamlessly in gameplay
Developing expressive character performances that communicate personality, emotion and intent
Iterating on feedback and optimizing animations for real-time performance
Supporting the team with best practices for rigging and animation workflow
Requirements:
Degree in Animation, Game Design, or a related field
A strong animation sense with a clear understanding of body mechanics, timing, weight, and posing
Solid experience in rigging and skinning characters for games
Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (Maya, Blender, etc.)
Prior experience with Unity and implementing animations using Unity’s animation system
Familiarity with animation pipelines in games
A collaborative mindset and ability to take and give constructive feedback
