Job Description

We are looking for a highly creative and detail-driven 360 Designer to join our dynamic creative team. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the visual direction of a premium skincare brand, bringing high-end digital and print designs to life across every consumer touchpoint. As part of our digital creative team, you will play a vital role in helping us create exceptional brand experiences that resonate with our audience. This is an inspiring, collaborative environment where innovation and a passion for beauty are at the heart of everything we do.

Job Responsibility

  • Design & Develop Digital Assets: Create and manage a diverse range of brand collateral for digital channels, including third-party retailer assets, email campaigns, promotional banners, digital invitations, social media graphics, and website assets.
  • Design & Develop Print Assets: Manage visual merchandising and print-related tasks as needed, ranging from updating existing global assets with translations to developing custom, market-specific print materials.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team: Work closely with the Design Director to fully understand project deliverables, ensuring tight alignment on timelines, objectives, and overall creative consistency.
  • Project Ownership: Take full ownership of projects from the initial brief through to execution and completion.
  • Consumer Visual Trends: Provide creative exploration and concept ideas to support project briefs.
  • Collaborative Feedback & Reviews: Attend briefings and regularly check in with the Team Manager and Head of Design to review work in progress, quickly refining designs based on team feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Proactively liaise with other departments and work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely delivery and keep all relevant parties informed.
  • Brand Aesthetic Awareness: Maintain a deep understanding of the brand’s evolving aesthetic and ensure all designs reflect this consistently.
  • Housekeeping: Keep Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), asset archives, and branding guides organized and up to date.

Requirements

  • Proven Design Experience: You have a solid, demonstrable track record in design direction, particularly within a luxury, premium, or beauty brand context.
  • Tools of the Trade: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe XD, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Figma.
  • Design Expertise: Strong creative skills with an impeccable eye for design fundamentals—typography, color, imagery, and layout—and the ability to apply them within strict brand standards.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Multi-tasker: You thrive in a fast-paced, reactive environment and can comfortably manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Problem-Solver: While you are a collaborative team player, you are equally capable of working independently, solving problems, and making informed design decisions on your own.
  • Responsive to Feedback: You take constructive project feedback in stride and are quick to action changes with precision and creativity.

  • Deep Experience in Premium Consumer Hardware: A proven track record of designing and shipping highly polished physical products in premium consumer hardware. This is a firm requirement — we are looking for someone who has set the bar in this space.
  • A Strong Sense of Ownership: You take complete ownership of your work and its outcomes. You treat the product as your own and drive it from concept to delivery without needing to be chased.
  • A Portfolio That Speaks for Itself: Shipped products that demonstrate genuine taste, restraint, and obsessive attention to detail.
  • Mastery of the Toolset: Fluency in surfacing and rendering tools — e.g. Rhino, Alias, Fusion 360, or SolidWorks for surfacing, and KeyShot (or equivalent) for visualisation.
  • CMF & Manufacturing Fluency: Deep feel for materials and a strong grasp of design for manufacture — injection moulding, die casting, finishing processes — and the judgement to design within real constraints.
  • Passion for Simplicity & Aesthetics: You believe simplicity is beautiful and seek to reduce complexity while delighting people with clean, modern, timeless design.
  • Startup Background: Comfort operating with less structure than a large corporate environment, taking ownership and using initiative.
  • Fast-Growing Environment: Ability to thrive in a rapidly scaling, fast-paced company, managing multiple priorities and quick turnarounds.
  • Level of English: At least conversational proficiency in English is required, as the company operates primarily in English. Ideally, C1 or above.
  • Green Energy Enthusiasm: Bonus points if you're passionate about electric cars, the energy transition, or sustainability initiatives.

Job Responsibility
  • Own the Product, End to End: Lead industrial design across our hardware family — form, surfacing, proportion, and detail. You own it from first sketch to final production part. The object is the brand, and it's yours.
  • Embrace a Deep Design Ethos: We love great design, and we have from day one. We believe there's always room to improve and aim to become one of the best design-focused companies in the world — admiring pioneers like Apple, Braun, and Dieter Rams, whose work inspires us to live the mantra: 'Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.'
  • Define the Design Language & CMF: Establish and evolve a coherent design language and colour, material, and finish system that scales beautifully across the entire product range.
  • Collaborate Across Hardware & Manufacturing: Work hand-in-hand with the VP of Hardware and the hardware team (our detailed mechanical work lives in SolidWorks), and partner closely with the VP of Manufacturing Engineering and our contract manufacturing partners to protect design intent through tooling, mass production, and delivery.
  • Design for Manufacture: Take products from concept through to production-intent design, designing within real constraints — and never losing the vision in the process.
  • Prototype & Iterate: Move fast from sketches and 3D-printed models to high-fidelity appearance models and renders, putting things in people's hands and refining relentlessly.
  • Design for the Real World: Create products that are flawless in a studio and bulletproof outdoors — engineering beauty into IP-rated, all-weather enclosures built to last for years.
  • Own the Whole Object Experience: The product, the packaging, the unboxing, the install — every physical touchpoint a customer has should feel considered and premium.
  • Drive Quality Through to Delivery: Champion craft and consistency, holding the line on quality from the first concept review all the way to the line in the factory.

What we offer
  • Competitive Salary & Generous Stock Options: Be rewarded for helping us grow and succeed.
  • Hybrid Working Policy: Time in our prime London offices with flexibility to work from home otherwise.
  • End-to-End Ownership: A rare chance to own the physical design of a product line that ships at scale and genuinely cares about craft — reporting directly to the CEO.
  • Professional Growth: Career advancement and professional development opportunities within a fast-growing company.
  • Inclusive Environment: Join a diverse, inclusive team that values collaboration and innovation.
