Job Description:

At The Sofa Delivery Company, delivering moments that matter is what we’re all about. With our 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, 7am - 7pm, you’ll have plenty of time to relax, recharge, and enjoy life outside of work. You’ll be the final link in delivering moments that matter. As a Van Driver, you’ll leave a lasting impression on our customers, delivering everything from recliners to footstools.

Job Responsibility:

  • Complete all deliveries into customers’ homes in a safe and professional manner
  • Communicate effectively with the customer prior to delivery
  • Ensure furniture is delivered to the room requested by the customer
  • Represent The Sofa Delivery Company values and those of our brand partners
  • Work with your team and senior managers to provide feedback and continually improve standards
  • Carry out daily inspections of allocated vehicles and equipment
  • Comply with all driving laws and all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid driving licence with less than 6 points
  • Held a valid driver’s licence for 12 months
  • Ready to work as part of a supportive two-person team
  • Great with people and enjoy helping customers
  • Comfortable installing and lifting heavy furniture in different home settings
