Emcon Services Inc.is a proud Canadian based company with over 30 years of success as an interprovincial road and bridge maintenance contractor. We currently have an opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our mechanical team as 310T Certified Technician for our Madoc, Ontario division.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conducting annual safety inspections
  • Performing repairs
  • Following preventative maintenance program on current fleet of trucks, trailers and equipment
  • Duties assigned by Lead-Hand/Mechanical Superintendent

Requirements:

  • Licensed Truck & Coach Mechanic (310T)
  • Registered for DriveOn portal
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence
  • Knowledge and experience in Preventative Maintenance Programs
  • Knowledge and experience in engine/emission diagnostics, electrical diagnostics and repair
  • Knowledge and experience in heavy truck hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, suspension, and steering
  • Knowledge and experience on Bosch Rexroth salt management system
  • Good knowledge of trade related worksite safety
  • Experience on industry related heavy-duty equipment such as gravel trucks, snow-plow trucks, winter maintenance attachments, loaders, grader, sweepers, mowers, backhoes, tractors, etc.
  • Capable of working overtime as required
  • Capable of performing call out to attend vehicle breakdown
  • Satisfactory drug pre-screening and Driver’s Abstract

Nice to have:

Knowledge and experience in fabrication and welding considered an asset
