Job Description:

The Warehouse Manager position has the responsibility for leadership of all teams responsible for material movement into, out of, and within the Logistics HUB. This role is critical to ensuring proper service and controlling costs. Aligning internal and external customer needs with P&L budgets focus on the needs, goal, and KPIs of the business strategy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assigning team members with tasks to be completed each shift
  • Setting performance metrics for team members and working with team members to ensure all metrics are met
  • Analyze trends, solve problems, motivate, and develop the team
  • Properly resolving problems and troubleshooting issues as they arise without the direction of management
  • Managing multiple projects as well as staff members
  • Reporting to General Manager and meeting with management to review goals and metrics
  • Maintaining a work environment that meets a company, state, and federal safety and employment guidelines
  • Support, if needed, the operations using the warehouse equipment to achieve the goals established
  • Perform Warehouse Worker duties if needed (unload/load trucks, operate forklifts and cranes, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • +2 years of managing a distribution warehouse
  • +2 years of experience using SAP or similar ERP/WMS
  • Proficient usage of computers, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate work
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong safety orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and build value-based relationships
