Job Description:

This position (Production Specialist) is responsible for the preparation and completion of engineered resins manufacturing for photochemistry applications. A detailed breakdown of the different responsibilities associated with this position is defined below. The hours are 2pm - 10:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure a reliable live inventory of raw materials, WIP, or completed batches
  • Provide first hand support to Production on issues associated with the resins
  • Suggest procedural and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and regulatory requirements
  • Responsible for creating, reviewing, submitting and completing resin recipes
  • Submit and complete all sampling associated with the batching process
  • Ensure effective utilization of raw materials
  • Follow and maintain all documentation associated with activities
  • Create or complete projects or reports assigned by Supervisor
  • Address potential equipment or batching process issues
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or High School degree with production experience
  • Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work on an independent basis
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
