Alro Steel, a family-owned company, is currently seeking 2nd Shift Material Handlers/Machine Operators to join our team in St. Louis, MO. If you are a team player that is, dependable, safety conscious and hardworking with an attention to detail, then Alro Steel has the career for you. No experience necessary!

Job Responsibility:

  • filling and preparing material orders for shipment to customers
  • operation of overhead cranes, forklifts, metal saws, shears, and lasers

Requirements:

  • previous experience in operations for a metal service center preferred
  • excellent attendance
  • safe work habits
  • computer and keyboard skill development
  • a record of accurate order fulfillment
  • commitment to safety
  • willingness to learn
  • desire to be a part of a great team
