2nd Engineer

• Perform engine watch operations
• Control and maintain machineries
• Update and control the planned maintenance system (PMS)
• Ensure safety standards
• Carry out watch according to official standards (6 hours watchkeeping shift)
• Oversee maintenance and checks according to PMS for designated tasks in cooperation with the Senior Engineer of the watch
• Report all relevant changes and information to the SEOOW
• Guide colleagues in their professional development, following trainings and safety protocols
• Cultivate a supportive work environment and motivate team to achieve excellent results
• Familiarize and act accordingly with the latest Health, Environmental, Safety and Security (HESS) national, international and company rules and regulations
• Create a welcoming and secure environment where everyone feels comfortable and respected

• Holder of national second engineer certificate of competency (COC III/2 unlimited) as per STCW regulations
• At least one year of experience as a watchkeeping Engineer on a cruise vessel or 2nd Engineer on different kinds
• B2 spoken level of English
• Good communication skills
• Curious, organized and determined person with experience in people management

Knowledge of other languages is a plus
