Job Description:

This position will be responsible for loading and unloading product onto an overhead conveyor line, loading & unloading parts into fitting racks, manual application of powder paint from time to time, inspecting product for quality, ensuring paint systems are running and clearing faults should they occur, and material handling activities to move parts/racks to and from the paint lines.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure production is to Victaulic’s established quality standards
  • Aid in the manufacture and shipment of quality products
  • Operate, monitor and inspect tools, dip tanks, paint lines, impregnators, and other related equipment
  • Operate PIV’s (powered industrial vehicles
  • forklifts and/or walk behind forklift)
  • Pack, inspect, prepare for shipment/transfer all products and/or material
  • Follow at all times proper safety procedures
  • Report accurately work performed, findings or results of inspections, and time and materials used
  • Maintain work area in neat and clean condition
  • Report immediately to his/her Supervisor any injury, unsafe act or condition
  • Perform duties to assure the uninterrupted operation of the facility
  • Willing to be trained and train others as necessary
  • Actively participate in SRP, VPDS, and any other Company initiative

Requirements:

  • Understand work instructions
  • Limited technical ability required
  • Able to lift to 50 pounds
  • Able to use hand tools
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Motivated/Self Starter
  • Good attendance
