You are invited to join our client, one of the most prolific developers in the global igaming space, as a 2D Game Animator. This on-site role is based in Tallinn studio, where the art team crafts visually engaging slot games for millions of players. If you love turning characters, symbols, and worlds into fluid, expressive motion, you will fit right in. You will work closely with the Art Director and game designers to shape the look and feel of each title, and you will help ensure the animation enhances gameplay across devices. You will also mentor junior team members, share feedback, and help raise the bar for visual quality. Job Responsibility:
Produce high quality animations for characters, symbols, environments, VFX and UI
Develop and pitch animation concepts with the Art Director and Game Designers
Build storyboards and animatics to plan motion before production
Rig 2D characters and assets for production needs
Optimise animations for performance across devices without losing quality
Mentor junior animators and contribute to a collaborative team culture
Iterate based on feedback to reach top tier visual quality and gameplay impact
Work with industry standard tools such as After Effects, Spine and Photoshop
Collaborate with game design, sound and engineering teams to deliver cohesive products
Requirements:
3+ years of professional animation experience
A strong portfolio showing character animation, VFX and motion storytelling
iGaming or slot animation experience (required)
Proficiency in 2D tools, especially After Effects (incl. Saber and Trapcode), Adobe Photoshop and Spine2D
Solid understanding of animation principles such as timing, anticipation and key poses
A keen eye for detail and quality
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently
Deep understanding of composition, colour and modern visual trends
Willing to work onsite in our Tallinn Office
