Minimum (10) years of AutoCAD design in automotive manufacturing applications
Must have a general understanding of all conveyor types and conveyor components
Familiarity with Client assembly project standards
Must be a self-starter and be capable of making accurate field observations, measurements and converting information supplied from other vendors into the overall composite plant layout
Must have in-depth understanding conveyor layout and design Drawing creation in AutoCAD of conveyor, carrier drawings and studies such as, cross-sections, station layouts, interference drawings, chording studies, envelope studies…etc.

Job Responsibility

Maintain the plant layout for both equipment activities
Maintain integration of supplier provided drawings into a layout of record and provide a weekly layout of record release
Oversee timely and organized submission all AutoCAD drawings on the ACC provided to Client by suppliers
Drawing creation in AutoCAD of conveyor, carrier drawings and studies such as, cross-sections, station layouts, interference drawings, chording studies, envelope studies…etc.
Report to the engineering program manager.

Job Responsibility

Supporting engineers and other key professionals in the preparation of plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
2D drafting of site layouts like parking lots, retail centers, apartments, schools, warehouses, subdivisions, etc. using engineering parameters and zoning requirements
2D paperspace setup for plan production
Exhibit and Map creation utilizing GIS shape files and imagery
3D Layout of utilities such as storm, sanitary, and water mains and associated profiles
3D Corridor modeling and/or grading techniques
3D Surface modeling and data analysis

Associate's degree in a drafting related field from an accredited university or college
5+ years experience in a product definition or CAD role
Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing as it related to individual parts and overall assemblies (ASME Y145)
