Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled 2D Animator with strong hands-on experience in Unity to join our game development team. This role combines creative animation expertise with technical implementation, requiring a deep understanding of Unity’s animation systems and production pipelines. The ideal candidate is both a visual storyteller and a technical collaborator — someone who can take ownership of animation work from concept through implementation, while working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Create high-quality 2D animations across a wide range of game experiences
  • Implement animations directly in Unity, using Animator Controllers, Timeline, and Unity UI systems
  • Collaborate closely with: Technical Artists, Developers, Monetization Managers, Designers, 2D Artists and Illustrators
  • Translate design intent and monetization strategy into clear, engaging animation solutions
  • Ensure animations meet performance, technical, and usability constraints within the live game environment
  • Contribute to improving animation workflows and pipelines within the Unity ecosystem

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience creating and implementing animations inside Unity
  • Good spoken English for daily communication
  • Deep understanding of Unity Animator, Canvas/UI animation, and production pipelines
  • High proficiency in Adobe After Effects (and related motion design tools)
  • Solid foundation in 2D animation principles and motion design
  • Experience creating both feature-level animation and micro UI interactions
  • Ability to work within technical constraints while maintaining visual quality
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in cross-functional teams

Nice to have

  • Experience in live-service games or social casino/mobile gaming environments
  • Understanding of monetization-driven design and player communication
  • Experience working alongside Tech Artists and developers on implementation challenges
