Job Description

Western Health are currently seeking applications for the 2027 Midwifery Bridging Program. The Bridging Program is a 6-month program for midwives who will complete their Graduate Diploma of Midwifery in 2026, working 64hrs per fortnight (0.84FTE). Four intakes are offered in 2027 (February, April, July and September).

Job Responsibility

Complete rotations across the continuum of pregnancy care
Supportive program with on-boarding plan, debriefing sessions and study days

Requirements

Must be a Registered Nurse undertaking the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery in 2026
Must be registered with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife prior to commencement
Must be eligible to work as a Registered Midwife in Australia
Must have immunisation clearance prior to commencement
