This Industrial Engineering Co-Op Student will provide valuable experience and direct exposure to manufacturing operations in a high-tech environment. The Oshawa Assembly Plant has undergone major plant conversions, which has seen the introduction of the best available technology! Throughout our Manufacturing operations, we are using innovative ways to problem solve, and for the design of systems and process. Job Responsibility
Direct labour, line balancing, layout and cost savings
Indirect labour, line balancing, layout and efficiency analysis
Special projects, labour savings, suggestion processing, and GMS workshop
You will also learn skills of dealing with people, working under time constraints, design, and practical implementation of university learning
Requirements
Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Industrial Engineering
Able to to work fulltime, 40 hours per week in Canada, and for 4, 8 or 12 month term (consecutive semesters) starting September 2026
Willing to work in a plant environment and flexible working hours (shift work, weekends, and overtime to meet business needs)
