Job Responsibility

  • Heavy Industrial Flux-Core: Master FCAW and MCAW applications (Flat Position) on large-scale projects
  • Major Steel Fabrication: Assemble massive I-beams, intricate tower sections, and structural frameworks
  • Specialty Methods: Use complex custom jigs and perfect standoff welding procedures
  • Uncompromising Safety: Champion a work environment that adheres to the highest tier of safe production practices

Requirements

  • Current Apprenticeship Level: You need to hold an active registration as either a first-year or second-year welding apprentice
  • Verified Shop Time: You must have around 2,000 verifiable hours already logged in your bluebook
  • Core Welding Knowledge: Experience with FCAW, MCAW, or standard MIG welding parameters
  • Workplace Mindset: Exceptional attendance, unwavering dependability, and a genuine desire to learn
  • Bonus Credentials: Holding an up-to-date CWB ticket is a massive asset
