Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has opened for a 1st Line IT Service Desk Engineer to join a high‑performing IT team within a rapidly growing Managed Service Provider based in Gloucester. This is a fantastic chance for someone currently working in a 1st line or junior IT support role who is looking to step up and develop their career in a fast‑paced MSP environment. You’ll gain hands‑on exposure across a broad range of technologies, from day‑to‑day service desk support through to live infrastructure project work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Providing 1st line support across a busy service desk
  • Logging, categorising and prioritising incidents and service requests
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Ensuring users are kept informed and SLA targets are met
  • Building, installing and configuring hardware and software
  • Supporting live infrastructure and project work alongside senior engineers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a 1st line IT support or Service Desk role
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Office 365 support and administration
  • Experience with Outlook and email support
  • Exposure to SharePoint, Teams, Azure queries
  • Basic knowledge of InTune
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and progress
