An exciting opportunity has opened for a 1st Line IT Service Desk Engineer to join a high‑performing IT team within a rapidly growing Managed Service Provider based in Gloucester. This is a fantastic chance for someone currently working in a 1st line or junior IT support role who is looking to step up and develop their career in a fast‑paced MSP environment. You’ll gain hands‑on exposure across a broad range of technologies, from day‑to‑day service desk support through to live infrastructure project work.
Job Responsibility:
Providing 1st line support across a busy service desk
Logging, categorising and prioritising incidents and service requests
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
Ensuring users are kept informed and SLA targets are met
Building, installing and configuring hardware and software
Supporting live infrastructure and project work alongside senior engineers
Requirements:
Previous experience in a 1st line IT support or Service Desk role
Strong customer service and communication skills
Office 365 support and administration
Experience with Outlook and email support
Exposure to SharePoint, Teams, Azure queries
Basic knowledge of InTune
A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and progress
