We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Supported Living Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you’ll support young people aged 16+ to develop independence, build life skills, and move confidently towards independent living. Job Responsibility:
Provide high-quality, person-centred support in line with individual support and pathway plans
Support young people to develop independence skills such as budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a tenancy
Promote engagement in education, training, and employment opportunities
Build positive, professional relationships while maintaining clear boundaries
Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, risk assessments, and key-work reports
Work collaboratively with social workers, education providers, and other professionals
Respond calmly and effectively to safeguarding concerns, incidents, and crisis situations
Requirements:
Compassionate, patient, and resilient approach
Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work independently, including lone working
Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
Nice to have:
NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in Health & Social Care / Children & Young People
Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and risk management practices
