Randstad is seeking dedicated Call Centre Operators to work remotely for a Victorian Government client, assisting the public with inquiries related to natural disasters (fire and floods).
Job Responsibility:
Respond to inbound calls from the general public, providing assistance and guiding callers to relevant information during natural disaster events (fire and floods).
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills with a diverse customer base
Ability to quickly assess customer questions/situations and provide an appropriate response
Proficiency in basic computer skills
Familiarity with Victorian geography and the ability to navigate digital maps
Minimum typing speed of 20 words per minute
Demonstrated ability to achieve performance targets
Strong customer service experience
Admin skills
able to work with multiple screens

Device running Windows 10 (16GB RAM or more is recommended)
Second monitor for dual-screen navigation
Dedicated headset for call-taking
Webcam for training sessions
Reliable home internet (recommended minimum: 50mbs download / 10mbs upload)
