1:1 After School Inclusion Support. Make a Big Difference, One-on-One. Do you believe every child deserves to feel confident, included, and supported? We do too. At Kama‘aina Kids, we are looking for compassionate individuals to serve as 1:1 Support Leaders in Waikoloa. In this vital role, you aren’t just supervising a group—you are the dedicated partner for a single student with unique learning or developmental needs. You’ll be their advocate, their cheerleader, and their guide, helping them fully participate in the fun and friendships of our after-school program.

Job Responsibility

  • Dedicated Support: Focus your attention on one specific child, helping them navigate afternoon activities like crafts, games, and outdoor play
  • Bridge the Gap: Encourage your student to interact with peers, helping them build social skills and lasting friendships
  • Positive Guidance: Assist with homework and provide personalized behavior support tailored to your student’s needs
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside the Group Leaders to ensure the entire environment remains safe, inclusive, and full of aloha

Requirements

  • With a high school diploma or GED (No teaching certificate required!)
