Job Description:

Dedicated Primary 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Role. Are you a nurturing and patient individual driven by a passion to support children with diverse learning needs? Randstad Education is seeking a Full-Time, Term-Time Only Primary Teaching Assistant to provide crucial 1:1 Special Educational Needs (SEN) support in schools across Crawley.

Job Responsibility:

Provide crucial 1:1 Special Educational Needs (SEN) support
Help individual pupils overcome academic, social, and emotional barriers
Support children with various additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, and Behavioural Challenges
Collaborate closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored strategies and track student progress

Requirements:

Experience working with children (education or care setting)
A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to challenging situations
Confidence in supporting pupils with SEN or behavioural needs
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above)
Eligibility to work in the UK
