Job Description:

Randstad Education is currently recruiting dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils who require additional help to access learning within a classroom setting. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a positive impact on their educational journey.

Job Responsibility:

Work closely with an individual pupil throughout the school day, providing tailored academic, emotional, and behavioural support
Assist the class teacher in delivering learning activities, adapt tasks to suit the pupil's needs, and help maintain focus and engagement during lessons
Support with social interaction, emotional regulation, and transitions throughout the day
Follow individual education plans, behaviour strategies, and guidance from the school's SEN team

Requirements:

Experience working with children in an education or care setting
A calm, flexible, and reliable approach
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply
The right to work in the UK
