Job Description:

Are you dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? A supportive primary school in Reigate is looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to assist children with Autism, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with SEN experience who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential in the classroom.

Job Responsibility:

Provide dedicated one-to-one support to a child, helping them stay engaged and reach their learning goals
Work alongside the teacher to foster a structured and positive classroom environment
Recognise and manage behavioural triggers, using strategies to provide the best support for the child
Promote confidence, independence, and positive social interactions

Requirements:

Experience supporting children with additional needs, particularly Autism and ADHD
Knowledge of behaviour management strategies
A valid DBS (or willingness to apply)
Eligibility to work in the UK
