As a 1:1 Instructor, you will move beyond general classroom assistance to provide intensive, personalised support.

Job Responsibility:

  • 1:1 & Small Group Mentorship: Driving academic and personal development through focused, individual attention
  • IEP Implementation: Delivering bespoke Individualised Education Plans and meticulously tracking progress milestones
  • Positive Behavioural Support: Utilizing empathetic strategies and reinforcement to manage emotional and social challenges
  • Holistic Collaboration: Partnering with teachers, parents, and therapists to ensure a 360-degree support system for the student
  • Environment Crafting: Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating, and sensory-aware learning space

Requirements:

  • Previous work with children, specifically within the SEND sector
  • A Child DBS currently on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A strong grasp of diverse learning styles and developmental stages
  • Exceptional communication skills, a patient temperament, and the resilience to thrive in a dynamic setting
