Job Description:

An established school in Ealing is searching for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 child with communication needs. The school educates students aged 2-16 across two sites and provides a rewarding, child-centered learning environment.

Job Responsibility:

1:1 Learning Support assistant for a Year 1 child with communication needs
Working closely during lessons and interventions
Exposure to on-site speech therapy and occupational therapy sessions

Requirements:

Energetic, compassionate, and patient individual
MUST have experience supporting children with communication challenges
Understanding of adaptive technologies to aid communication and learning
Ability to build a positive relationship with a child who is pre-verbal, calm, and has a great sense of humour
Team-player with a proactive approach to supporting class learning
