Job Description:

Rupert House School are looking for an enthusiastic and patient person to give 1:1 learning support in the classroom to a child with additional learning needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the class teacher and SEND Department to develop the child’s focus and ability to complete school tasks in the classroom
  • Provide some 1:1 lessons to support and strengthen the child’s maths confidence and development through multisensory and engaging activities
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance with the school’s Safeguarding and Staff Behaviour Policies
  • Report any concerns to the Headmaster or Designated Safeguarding Lead

Requirements:

  • No formal qualification required
  • Experience working with children
  • Good communication skills and a can-do attitude
  • Patience and understanding
  • Some knowledge of children with learning needs
