Job Description

1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant | Outstanding, Nurturing & Creative Primary School | Wandsworth. EdEx are exclusively working with a “Outstanding” graded Primary school in the heart of Wandsworth to find a 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant. Roles at this school only come up every couple of years, due to the existing team being so well-looked after. This really is an opportunity not to be missed. This is an ASAP start position, Monday – Friday, school hours (8:30am – 4:00pm). The daily rate for this role is between £110 – £115 per day experience dependant.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting a boy in Year 1 with Autism (ASD), Behaviour Needs (SEMH)
  • Working 1-2-1 with the boy to best support him, building a nurturing relationship over the remaining academic year

Requirements

  • Kind, caring, compassionate, resilient and able to use initiative
  • A graduate is ideal, but not essential
  • Ambitious with future career aspirations within Psychology, Therapy, Counselling, Support Work, Behaviour etc
  • Some experience with children with additional needs, great if in a school setting, but can also be transferrable skills
