Young Graduate Operations Officer

• Operational Regie: Make task distribution for dockworkers and proactively adjust operations during your shift based on changing circumstances
• Safety & Quality First: Act as an ambassador for safety
• check instructions on the ship, perform last-minute risk analyses, and coach teams to prevent incidents
• Leading on the quay: Directly supervise gang bosses, cell bosses, and markers and are the point of contact for the ship's crew
• Data & Reporting: Process the wage administration per shift, monitor returns via our Terminal Operating System (TOS), and create accurate quality reports for our customers
• Continuously Improving: Identify bottlenecks in the logistical flow and formulate proposals to raise productivity and safety to an even higher level

• Young Graduate with a Master or Bachelor in a logistics or technical direction
• Maximum of 6 months work experience
• Strong spatial and numerical insight
• Works smoothly with MS Office (especially Excel)
• Fluent in Dutch and English (knowledge of French is a plus)
• Decisive, stress-resistant, and a natural leader
• Flexible to work in a rotating shift system (early, day, and late shift), including weekends and holidays

Knowledge of French
