Responsible for guiding and directing 5 to 10 warehouse workers
Experience with solving problems regarding loading and unloading goods
Possession of a forklift certificate
Experience with loading and unloading all kinds of goods in containers and trucks
Knowledge of cargo securing
Sense of responsibility
General knowledge of workplace safety
Result-oriented and flexible
Strong communication skills

Functieverantwoordelijkheden

Point of contact for customers and your team of warehouse workers
Follow up on warehouse workers and guide them in performing warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading goods, in or out of trucks and containers
Follow up on assignments in the ERP system and coordinate daily warehouse planning
Ensure timely and safe execution of customer orders and completion of schedules
Communicate with the operational supervisor
Supervise and commit to the daily operation and safety in and around the warehouse
Check the operation of the forklifts for your assigned warehouse
Create schedules and work distributions in collaboration with your supervisor
Check daily schedules and completed orders as well as the working hours of your warehouse workers
Guide and direct your team of 5 to 10 warehouse workers (and possibly third parties) for the correct, safe and timely loading and unloading of goods
