Ben jij op zoek naar een bijverdienste of een deeltijdse job die niet binnen de kantooruren past? DPD in Lummen zoekt magazijnmedewerkers voor het laden en lossen en het sorteren van pakketten. Je kan werken in een avond- of nachtploeg. Starten tussen 02u00 en 07u00 ('s nachts) of tussen 14u00 en 20u00 ('s avonds).

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

  • Quickly and efficiently load and unload packages from containers
  • Use a scanner to correctly register each shipment
  • Accurately sort based on recipient's postal code
  • Check if each package has the correct label

Vereisten:

  • Minimum 3 days per week available
  • Physical resilience for heavier work
  • Team player with good work ethic
  • Very good Dutch and/or English
  • Thrives working on call with day or week contracts

  • Follow up on warehouse workers and guide them in performing warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading goods, in or out of trucks and containers
  • Follow up on assignments in the ERP system and coordinate daily warehouse planning
  • Ensure timely and safe execution of customer orders and completion of schedules
  • Communicate with the operational supervisor
  • Supervise and commit to the daily operation and safety in and around the warehouse
  • Check the operation of the forklifts for your assigned warehouse
  • Create schedules and work distributions in collaboration with your supervisor
  • Check daily schedules and completed orders as well as the working hours of your warehouse workers
  • Guide and direct your team of 5 to 10 warehouse workers (and possibly third parties) for the correct, safe and timely loading and unloading of goods
