Warehouse Operator

• Act as stand-in for supervisor during their absence, overseeing safety, housekeeping, work continuity, providing information, and coordinating with other departments
• Registering and correcting various data in an automated system and performing relevant administrative tasks
• Coordinating stock checks and processing returns
• Receiving and storing goods from the Processing department
• Key user for AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle), conveyor belt, and lift, including troubleshooting
• Performing tasks for incoming and outgoing goods and assisting drivers, partly in 1 foreign language
• Performing all receiving, storage, and shipping activities in the warehouse using a forklift
• Correctly assembling, packaging, and preparing (customer) orders for shipment
• Registering goods movements (RF scanning) for inventory administration
• Assisting in determining put-away and picking strategies/thinking about optimal and efficient warehouse layout
• Ensuring safety, order, and cleanliness in the department

• Possession of an EVO forklift certificate
• Completed MBO education, preferably in Logistics
• Demonstrable practical experience with safe and competent forklift driving
• Natural authority
• Eye for detail and quality, alert and accurate
• Ability to work under pressure
• Team player
• Sets a good example for others in everything you do
• Basic computer knowledge (email, Word, Excel)
• Preferably experience with RF barcode scanning within a Warehouse Management (WMS) system
• Possession of or willingness to obtain a BHV (Emergency Response) certificate
