Functieomschrijving:

Fulltime Visual Merchandiser position at IKEA Heerlen, responsible for creating an inspiring and commercial store experience through visual presentation and store design

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

Responsible for the visual appearance of the entire store
Contribute to positioning IKEA as the best home furnishings store in the market
Have knowledge about 'people's life at home'
Develop new ways to present and demonstrate products
Ensure layout that contributes to the mechanical sales system
Maintain various display and presentation spaces throughout the store
Exceed customer expectations
Collaborate with other departments to find inspiring solutions that promote the sales process
Lead and execute projects as well as keep the store vital

Vereisten:

Preferably completed studies in Visual Merchandising, product presentations and spatial design
At least HBO thinking and working level
Knowledge and experience with 3D programs
Creative and commercial visual skills with a sharp eye for aesthetics in shop design
Ability to verbally explain concepts and visual interpretations
Ability to prioritize and organize own work to use available time as efficiently as possible and meet agreed deadlines
Strong passion and affinity with interior design, store design, styling & trends
Recent work experience in retail preferably as Visual Merchandiser
Have courage, entrepreneurship and dare to make choices
Energetic, commercial, solution-oriented and always looking for new & better ideas
Flexible and have a practical attitude towards responsibilities and able to meet set deadlines
